Being selected among the final three placed our deepfake detection technology before some of India's most experienced cybersecurity and enterprise technology leaders.

Among three finalists selected by DSCI

Neural Defend was named one of three finalists in the Innovation Box category for The Most Innovative Product of the Year at the DSCI Excellence Awards 2025.

The finalist group included Neural Defend, Ravenmail and SecureDApp. The recognition placed our work before cybersecurity, investment and enterprise technology leaders from across India.

For our team, the selection was especially meaningful because Innovation Box focused on product innovation: not only the problem being addressed, but the ability to turn that work into technology organizations can evaluate and deploy.

Presenting Neural Defend at AISS 2025

The finalists presented during the Annual Information Security Summit in New Delhi. Our presentation focused on Neural Defend's approach to identifying deepfakes and synthetic media across audio, video, images and identity workflows.

We discussed how manipulated media can affect digital onboarding, customer calls, claims, investigations and sensitive enterprise communication. We also demonstrated why detection must be designed for operational use, with outputs that security, fraud, risk and investigation teams can act on.

The final evaluation combined jury scores at 70 percent with an audience poll at 30 percent. PwC India served as the awards process partner.

Why this recognition matters

Cybersecurity teams are preparing for a world in which seeing and hearing are no longer enough to establish trust. Deepfake detection must become part of the security controls that protect digital identity, financial transactions, communications and evidence.

Our selection as an Innovation Box finalist reinforces the importance of building this capability as deployable infrastructure. It also reflects the work of the entire Neural Defend team across research, engineering, product and customer collaboration.

We thank DSCI, the jury, the audience and the AISS community for the opportunity to present our work.
