Effective: 9 August 2026
Last updated: 9 August 2026
Version: 3.0
1. Purpose and scope
This Policy explains how Neural Defend Private Limited ("Neural Defend," "we," "our," or "us") handles customer content submitted through Neural Defend's contracted detection products, software, application programming interfaces, and customer portals (collectively, the "Neural Defend Services").
It applies to customer analysis requests processed in Neural Defend-controlled service environments, including submissions through an application programming interface or upload functionality.
2. Our commitment
Neural Defend applies Zero Data Retention to customer content submitted for analysis.
We do not save customer images, video, audio, documents, recordings, voiceprints, or any other submitted media.
Customer content is processed in real time solely to produce a detection result. When the request completes, Neural Defend does not retain the submitted media or any reconstructable copy of it.
3. What we do not store
Neural Defend does not persistently store:
- Images, photographs, or scanned documents.
- Video files or video streams.
- Audio files, voice recordings, or call audio.
- Face images, voiceprints, biometric templates, or comparable biometric data.
- Derived visualizations such as frames, thumbnails, heatmaps, spectrograms, waveforms, or comparable artifacts generated from submitted media.
- Database copies, object-storage files, cache entries, queue records, backups, or snapshots of submitted customer media.
4. Limited operational records we may retain
To operate, secure, and bill the Neural Defend Services, we may retain limited non-content operational records that do not include the submitted media itself, such as:
- Filename and file size.
- The detection result or score returned to the customer.
- Request timestamps, tenant or account identifiers, and processing status.
- Service, security, billing, and internal review logs necessary to operate the service, investigate incidents, and respond to customer requests.
These records are not used to reconstruct submitted media and are not used for model training or product improvement.
5. How processing works
- An authorized customer submits content for analysis.
- The content is available to the detection process only for the duration of that request.
- Neural Defend performs the requested detection and generates a result.
- The result is returned to the customer through the applicable integration.
- Submitted customer media and any derived processing copies are removed when the request reaches a terminal state.
Analysis may run in real time or near real time depending on the integration. In every case, customer media exists in Neural Defend-controlled processing only for the time required to complete the request.
6. Model training and secondary use
Neural Defend does not use customer content to train, retrain, fine-tune, benchmark, evaluate, or improve any model or product. Customer use of the Neural Defend Services is not consent to any secondary use of submitted content.
7. Human review
Standard detection is automated. Neural Defend does not routinely review submitted content. If a customer requests root-cause analysis or similar support and voluntarily provides files by email or another approved channel, Neural Defend handles that material only under the applicable support terms and not as part of the standard analysis workflow.
8. Website and account data
This Policy governs customer content submitted for analysis through the Neural Defend Services. It does not govern public-Website information, account administration, billing, contracts, or ordinary business communications. Those categories are described in our Website Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Website cookies, consent records, and security logs are separate categories. Customer media submitted for analysis is never retained as Website security data.
9. Detection outputs
Detection outputs are probabilistic technical assessments. They should be considered with relevant context, quality indicators, and customer procedures. An output should not be the sole basis for a consequential decision where applicable law or internal policy requires human review.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy when our practices, technologies, or legal obligations change. The Last Updated date identifies the current version.
