Taking Neural Defend to Pitch for Business

Neural Defend was selected for HDFC Bank's Pitch for Business programme at Global Fintech Fest 2025.

The programme gave fintech and technology companies an opportunity to present directly to HDFC Bank leaders and domain experts. Each participating team used a focused five-slide, ten-minute format to explain the problem it was solving, demonstrate its product and discuss potential applications for the bank.

For Neural Defend, the programme was an opportunity to present the growing risk created by deepfakes and synthetic media across financial-services workflows.

A direct conversation about digital trust

Banks now serve customers through digital onboarding, remote support, video interactions, uploaded documents and mobile transactions. These channels improve access and speed, but they also create opportunities for manipulated identities, cloned voices, synthetic faces and falsified evidence.

Our presentation focused on how Neural Defend can help financial institutions inspect suspicious audio, video, images and documents before they influence a high-risk decision.

We also discussed how deepfake detection can be introduced through APIs and workflow integrations, allowing teams to add authenticity checks while preserving their existing customer and operational processes.

Why the programme mattered

Pitch for Business created a direct bridge between emerging technology companies and the teams responsible for real banking products and operations.

That format made the conversation practical. It allowed us to discuss where deepfake risks appear, how teams currently respond and what a deployable detection signal needs to provide.

We thank HDFC Bank and the Global Fintech Fest team for creating an opportunity for startups and financial institutions to explore new technology together.

Continuing the work

Our participation at GFF reinforced the need for deepfake detection that can operate across multiple media types and fit into real financial workflows.

We will continue working with banks, fintech companies, insurers and identity platforms to help their teams evaluate suspicious media before it affects a customer, transaction or investigation.
